David Alan Gordon (Partner)

David Alan GordonDavid obtained his Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws Degrees from the University of Cape Town. He then completed his compulsory national service as a legal officer. Joining the Department of Justice, he served as a prosecutor in Wynberg, Cape Town: a State Advocate in Pietermaritzburg and then as a Senior State Advocate in the Attorney-General’s Office in the Rand Supreme Court. After resigning, he was admitted as an attorney forming Mason & Gordon, later to join with Simon and Goetzsche. David was President of the Rotary Club of Johannesburg 1994/95 and was a director of Business Against Crime between from its establishment in 1996 until 2001. Involved as a director in several SA and international businesses, David has a wealth of experience in commercial and criminal law in which he has practiced for over 40 years.

Neil Grant Stevens (Partner)

Neil Grant StevensNeil obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Natal (Pietermaritzburg) and later went on to complete his Bachelor of Laws Degree at the University of the Witwatersrand . Neil served his articles with Simon & Goetzsche, Mason & Gordon where he passed the attorneys board exams and was admitted as an attorney. Neil was elected to the position of Partner at Simon & Goetzsche, Mason & Gordon in January 2002 and later went on to become one of the founding partners of Gordon, Stevens and Ranchhoojee Attorneys when it was established in March of 2004. Neil specializes in commercial and family law in which he has over 20 years of experience.
